Natural makeup?

what type of makeup should i wear day-to-day to achieve a natural but still noticeable makeup look?





i have skin with yellow and pink undertones, and really big blue eyes.





what i wear now is a sheer tinted moisturizer, some black mascara on the upper lashes and sometimes some bronzer. however within an hour my face looks blah- everything's worn off and i just look messy.





what am i doing wrong? what should i add/remove? thanks!Natural makeup?

hmmm, well summer is here now, and make-up is definitely switching tunes....right now its all about light gold shimmer, and natural brown and tan hues, for a back from the beach look, even if you haven't been at the beach! try i brown mascara (shade depending on the color of your hair, try to get them close as possible and maybe just the tiniest bit of brown eye-liner, but definitely not darkly, or thickly applied. try just a touch of gold shimmer, or just a light neutral shadow on the lids. use a very soft light pink blush, if you want to use any, and a pale pretty pink on the lips, nothing too crazy! a bronzer, or tinted moisturizer is definitely fine to use, but make sure you blend some in sown onto the neck and even along the collar bone if necessary if you aren't tan yet! well that's pretty much the look of the summer, so give it a try!

i would put a powder foundation over your moisterizer like urban decays surrreal mineral make up. (urbandecay.com) its seriously the BEST foundation i have ever bought in my life. you can wear it as sheer or as heavy as you want and application is SOOO easy. check out the website, you will LOVE this stuff!


i also recomend wearing bronzer instead of blush. the bronzer will stay on much better once you start wearing a powder foundation.


for lips i really like smashbox lipgloss. they have a bunch of nutral colors that look great.


and then there are eyes.......


i absolutely LOVE brown shimmery eye shadow, it makes blue eyes POP! for mascara i recomend a waterproof, but thats just me. i use lorac waterproof mascara. if you want to wear liner on top i like chanels automatic liquid liner pen. it has a great felt tip applicater that makes your line flawless!





my favorite thing to wear is white eyeliner right inside your bottom eye. it makes your whole face glow and makes you look so awake and refreshed! chanel has a white pencil thats really great for this and ive had the same one since christmas and have only had to sharpen it a few times.

i would maybe put on a little less so it isn't that noticeable but still there. i use bare minerals and that works great for me it doesn't look messy but it costs alot of money and i also put brown eyeliner on and clear lip gloss too.
I know a really good brand but it's really expensive (no offense to anyone!) It's called Aveda and it's all natural and it stays on really well. I don't know much more about tips to help you with amounts and all that.
