I want to start wearing makeup that suits me but not too obvious so everyone is like OMG you are wearing makeup!

Go RUN to your closest mac counter, they have light weight cosmetics that can dress you up with out looking too crazy, they also have extreme make up if you decide you want to lay it on a little thick, visit a couple make up counters and ask for a free make over (if they have time) and try out several for yourself. MAC is the best.. Revlon is good too... also Jay Manuel (Mr. J from americas next top model has a make up line thats REALLY GOOD
i.d. Bare Minerals. The Mineral Veil which you are supposed to put on after the foundation is really really light, but you may be able to use it as a foundation itself if you DO have very fair skin. I don't have fair skin, though, so i could be wrong. I would go to an Ulta store and try a sample of the foundations and even the mineral veil to see if that would work.
try out bare minerals at any ulta, sephora, macy's,or nordstrom store, to see, how you like it. their foundations look very natural even in the lightest shades.
I just started using Affordable Mineral Make up and it's AMAZING!! It's not expensive and it works!! I have a friend that is a consultant for them if you'd like some more info.
OMG you gotta try bare essentials it is amazing! it looks so natural, like ur not even wearing make up! Flawless and has amazing coverage...
Avoid Eye-liner all together . . . Just use a light lip gloss, a hairbrush and a smile . . . That's all you need to be cute.

Well you have the right idea. You never want people to say ';OMG you're wearing make-up!'; - that's never a good thing. If you have fair skin - the obvious answer is to wear very light make-up. If you're looking to even out your skin tone, I recommend mineral foundation - it's very easy to match it to your skin tone, and it really makes your complexion look flawless. The best mineral make-up I have found is Physician's Formula. You can find it in any drug store. There is also blusher in the mineral line - I'm guessing a light pink for you based on how you've described yourself. Your blusher can also be used for a quick sweep across your eyes. Curl your eyelashes and add a coat of brown mascara - unless you have darker hair, then you may want to go with black mascara. Some lip gloss and you're good to go.

instead of wearing black eyeliner and mascara you could try brown and you are better off without foundation or powder if you already have fairly good skin

same with me. put some eyeliner, and light eyeshadow that matched your eye color. if you want put a little light pink blush on your cheeks
wearing no makeup is the most natural.
if you don't have a lot of blemishes that need hidden, i would say to go for a loose powder (covergirl is nice) and maybe a brown mascara. You can put on a lot of powder with a simple makeup brush, and it won't look obvious that you are wearing makeup at all. With mascara, just slick some on then brush through your lashes with an eyelash comb. All of this (powder, mascara, and brushes) should only cost about $10.00 and can be bought almost anywhere!

well, your makeup should make you look different. just ignore the ppl that always point out ';you're wearing makeup omg!'; i hate it when ppl do that. they're just jealous that they have no clue what in the world makeup is! u should go to macy's and get one of their gift sets. *i just bought one. if u buy 1 item from lancome cosmetics then u only have to pay $48 and u get this HUGE makup set. all the stuff in there is amazing.* i know it seems like a lot of money, but it's better than spending less money and getting all sorts of *rappy items, right? on youtube just type in SEPHORA and they have great instructional videos or how to apply makeup.
