Is there a way I can tell the difference between a synthetic and a natural bristle makeup brush?

I've accumulated quite a few and can't remember which is which.Is there a way I can tell the difference between a synthetic and a natural bristle makeup brush?
i was going to say ';price';, but seeing that you have them already, i would say touch them. plastic feels differently than natural hair.Is there a way I can tell the difference between a synthetic and a natural bristle makeup brush?
In my opinion the synthetic are more coarse and plastic coated feeling... they are shiny too compared to the natural. Natural is softer.
