How do you make makeup look natural?

I'm going to a Ford Open Call, and I need to appear like I'm not wearing much makeup.

I like to use foundation, powder, eyeshadow, and eyeliner(Brown).

I do have mild acne, so I need to cover it as best I can.How do you make makeup look natural?
Foundation and powder always look natural if they are the right shace. Do a light eyeshadow-NOT blue. For your acne for long term care-use cetaphil. for a cover up-coverstick.How do you make makeup look natural?
Use a make-up base before putting on make-up. This will allow your make-up to lasts longer. Then use a concealer to hide those flaws, then use a good powder foundation. Powder foundation are more natural-looking and easy to apply. They don't look heavy but they can cover imperfections as well as liquid foundations. Powder foundations allow you skin to breathe. There are a lot of good brands in stores - Lancome. Estee Lauder and Awake. Choose the right shade that will suit you.
here's what you'll need:

green concealer (from any drug store): use this on your pimples, then your foundation on top.

yellow concealer if you have dark circles

liquid and very light foundation, or compact powder foundation for oily skin. MUST BE of your skin color (same color as your neck). moisture skin and let it absorb the lotion or cream before you start applying the foundation

lose powder

eyeshadow: you could skip, because a dab of foundation on your upper eyelid will make your eye shine and look very refreshed. But if you want, go for a mat color (one that doesn't have shimmer/that doesn't shine) .. in color beige. You could use your blush on top for a very natural look : after using the blush on your face, swipe a bit (the remaining on the brush) your brow bone. easyyyyy because too much pink on your eye might make you look tired.

eyeliner: make the line very thin and AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE to your lashes. Use a cotton swab to smudge lightly, like blend it so that it looks like you have full, thick lashes.

Good luck, you'll do well and you'll be fine :) let us know how you did girl !
hmmm.... why dont you apply a lil' bit of liquid foundation. and most interesting part is apply a white eyeshadow or something bright as a highlighter on top of the cheek bones. i suggest you don't over do with eyeliner. why don't you apply a very good water proof mascara it gives an instant pop up to the eye. lilttle bit of blush and gloss, you are ready! good luck then!
Try mineral makeup. Seriesse has the mineral foundation. It doesn't clogg your pores and gives you a natural but covered look. Would you wear eyeshadow if you are wanting to look like your not wearing makeup? Maybe you should try a little eyeliner and a light coat of mascara.

Good luck with your audition!!!
There is a make-up line called Bare essentials. It's excellent and looks as if you're not wearing any make-up at all..

check it you! My skin complexion is not perfect, but it still looks great!
I second Rachel about using Cetaphil. I would recommend using a dry cloth to remove it without water. If you want to use water, you can, but I noticed if I don't use water and just use a dry cloth, it REALLY deep cleans. There are off brands as well.

Just use make-up brushes. A cheap brand is Simply Basics, sold at Walmart. I'm happy with them! :-) Use make-up brushes and do light applications. As for foundation, try powder version instead.

If you don't want to invest in brushes, at least get one for the lip and eyes, and use cotton ball for everything else.
blend it in so that it doesnt have very distinct lines
just use foundation, concealer and a touch of blush
DOn't put too much... Just a little foundation and teeny tiny bit of powder....
don't bring the eyeliner all the way around the eyes on the bottom. it constricts the eyes and makes them look smaller. the foundation needs to be well blended into the skin. it can't be so think that it does hid natural beauty marks, like freckles. the powder might be a bit much. there is a physicians' formula makeup brand that makes a great blemish concealer (it's green to even out the reddness). try using that. it's the best i've found yet.
