I am 14 and I have noticed that a lot of girls at my age started using makeups. I want to start using makeup not because other girls are starting to use them. I want to use them because I want to make myself look more pretty. But I don't want to use too much makeup, because sometimes too much makeup can make girls look fake. So what are some steps and products I can use for natural makeup? What are some steps and products I can use for natural makeup?
Definitely try Mineral lines. The best is definitely BareMinerals, however there are many cheaper and nearly as good alternatives. Maybelline and L'Oreal both make decent mineral lines. I'd reccomend L'Oreal's though. Try this look...
1) Swirl on the L'Oreal Bare Naturale Foundation
2) Dab on the concealer on pimples, areas with redness, or undereye circles if you have any.
3) Apply a blush. You can use the Bare Naturale blush, or you can use other blushes as well. I like Maybelline's blush in Dusty Mauve or Covergirl's Cheeker Blush in Classic Pink.
4) Apply either a light pink, brown, or gold color. For pink, I love Covergirl's Eye Shadow Singles in Pink Chiffon. For brown, Covergirl's Eye Shadow Singles in Mink is great. For gold, try L'Oreal's Eye Shadow Singles in Buttercup. Also, try Covergirl's Gel Eyeslicks. It's great to use as a base under eye shadows so they last longer.
5) Honestly, eyeliner isn't that neccessary for everyday use. I'd use a brown or gray on special occassions only, drawn in a very thin line. Try Maybelline Define-A-Line eyeliner in Slate Gray or Brown.
6) Apply mascara, in brown or black. Definitely get it in waterproof. I like Maybelline Lash Stylist, Covergirl Lash Blast, or L'Oreal Voluminous.
7) Swipe on lip gloss. I love Covergirl Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers in Guava Splash.
Good luck, and I really hope I helped! What are some steps and products I can use for natural makeup?
oooh yay I love questions like this! :D okay so im 13 so i know what you mean by not looking fake like some girls who cake on makeup. so you could apply some tinted mousturizer if you need it to maybe cover up discoloration or you can just use some concealer (again only if you need it). for your eyes, i usually wear either: 1) mascara + eyeliner or 2) mascara + eyeshadow. i dont like feeling like im wearing too much makeup for school. for your eyes i would curl them and apply some clear or brown mascara. you could also try a very very thin line of eyeliner on the top and outer corners but i would suggest eyeshadow over eyeliner. for eyeshadow, stick to natural colors like tans, pinks, etc. if you want to add some color to your cheeks you could try a light cheek tint. and for lips some good lip balm and gloss!
use tinted moisturizer, loose powder and mascara.
its a nice natural look
