What is more honest, natural looking makeup of heavy makeup?

Is natural looking makeup not a contradiction and deceptive? Is it not better to wear very heavy makeup which doesnt look natural at all? Like hairstyles, if you have a 'done' hairstyle it is obviously not natural so why not the same with makeup? Or is it only to accentuate features?What is more honest, natural looking makeup of heavy makeup?

Makeup should be used to accentuate features, like defining cheek bones, widening eyes, drawing attention to lips, etc. Makeup should never look caked-on, especially if it's obvious you're using it to cover something up. Natural-looking makeup is by far the best, but it's okay for makeup not to look natural as long as it's not too over-the-top.

A lot of women use the natural make up because it looks better, it accentuate their features, and because is in style, and in my opinion natural make up is better because with heavy you look feake

make up is used for 2 different reasons, to hide or to accentuate. So no make up is honest.
