What's a good way to look natural with makeup?

I used to wear alot of makeup and now I want to look nice, even thought I don't have a lot on? Any tips?

ThanksWhat's a good way to look natural with makeup?
good quality skincare products to start with- fix that acne! foundation that is close to your skin color, dark brown mascara, bronzing powder instead of blush, cream or brown eyeshadow, brown eyeliner and clear gloss on the lipsWhat's a good way to look natural with makeup?
well the best thing to do it first put lotion or moisturizer for your skin so the cover up stays on. 1st powdered it the best it looks more natural. and only put a light layer on and the one that matches with your skin and you should be fine.
I have acne prone skin too...It's so annoying.

I wear very natural looking makeup, too.

I just wear a bit of mineral foundation, some light pink/clear lipgloss, a nice shimmer colour on your eyelids and a bit of mascara.

Also, something nice and natural looking is putting on some light eyeshadow and putting vaseline on over the top.

I hope this helps!

Just go through these tutorials, xsparkage has a natural look here.

use neutral colors like browns, creams and pinks
use liquid...its easier to blend and covers up blemishes...they make mineral based liquid foundations so go for that...

dont ever pack too much of anything on?
okay well i usually just put a little eyeliner on and i found that black was too dark for me so i switched to a gray or charcoal color. Then i use some moisturizer at least once a week but not too often because i have acne prone skin too :] and then i use a really light color of blush and if i happen to put on too much i just rub it into my skin a little and it does help. also if don't really wear lipstick because that happens to make you look worse. Sorry but true. just get some lip gloss or something, even chap stick works :]
well ill do this in steps ...

step 1(optional) take ur morning moisturizer and mix in a small dap of ur foundation ( u need to moisturize anyways, why not give a very sheer even color)

step 2. take ur pressed powder i love clinique prefectly real its awesome !!!!! and use a brush not the sponge and dust the powder over ur face lightly

step 3.. apply a blush thats sheer but close to ur skin.. cliniques iced lotus is beautiful if u want something cheaper tho try rimmel or covergirl but stay away from glitter lol also dont go for like uber bright pink, u wanna be natural not look like a doll

step 4.. take brown eyeliner and put it on the outer corner of ur bottom lash line and smudge inward, smudge it across, not downwards or ull look tired

step 5.. if u want to u can do the same to your upper lash line as well and use a liner brush to soften the line

step 6 opional if u want u can aply a sheer shimmer color close to ur skintone allover ur lid and to go one step farther u can apply a medium brown or taupe to the outer corner and blend it out really thin, so its a barely there shadow

step 7 apply mascara thinner coat on bottom then top

step 8 use a ntural lipgloss in my opinion, chapstick is best ur lips look soft and moist without glossy sticky

step 9 LAST PART and totally optional.. use a highlighter on the tops of ur cheekbones up to the outer part of ur eye, like a moon shape

i know it sounds like alot but its really not, i just made everything little thing a step lol.. GL !
No1 can tell i'm wearing make-up and i love that. I use bareminerals and i also have acne prone skin. I'm not the type to go around advertising make-up since i generally hate the feeling of something all over your face feeling oily but this stuff is really good.
I recently was using Bare minerals for my make up. I thought it looked good on me until I went to a spa and they told me whatever makeup I wa using wasn't good for my face at all.

I personally like the Clinique holiday collection. It only comes out once a year and you get a variety of eye shadows facial creams, mascaras, and foundations. The eyes shadows where pretty neutral and they do wonders for your skin.

If you don't like this, try Cover girl. There make up is amazing too.

If your looking for something more expensive, Bobbi Brown had great eye shadow and foundation. :)

Hope I helped.
1Understand that a 'natural' look is one that uses colors that are right for your skin tone. How much you use, and where, depends on your personal style.

Step 2Make sure your concealer is yellow in tone since it mutes imperfections without adding color, giving your skin a natural look.

Step3Apply foundation that matches your skin tone. The right foundation will seem to disappear on your face. If you are African-American, it's a good idea to have light, medium and dark shades of your foundation to allow for different gradations of color on different parts of your face.

Step4Apply eye makeup in earthy tones'beige, brown, gold or plum for shadows and brown and charcoal gray for liner and mascara. Skip liner or shadow entirely if you want to keep makeup light.

Step5Choose a blush color that is close to the color of your cheeks

hope this was helpful
