How can I make my makeup look more natural?

well im going into 7th grade. and 5th and 6th grade I wore makeup that didn't look so natural. . .and i now think its so ugly and fake when i have it like that. and i want something more natural looking.. .. like kind of taylor swift wears. . . and tips? How can I make my makeup look more natural?
When people think of natural looking makeup they always instantly think it means wearing next to nothing, which could be true, but I think the main theme you have to keep in mind when wanting to create a natural look is to use lots of natural colors compared to the funky colors like blue and green. Try using a lot of light browns and beige for eyeshadow, and brown eyeliner. You can use mascara, when wanting a natural look, you should use preferably brown mascara, but I think you'll be fine with using black mascara, just not too heavy. As for blush, use a peachy color or something that doesn't stand out too much from your face color. And then lastly lip gloss. I normally opt for a clear lip gloss, but if you are more of the type to use colored, use a nude color.

Hope I helped, good luck in 7th grade! How can I make my makeup look more natural?
Have fun in 7th! i'm in that boat too! o.k one thing you can do. buy colors like creme eye shadows in earth tones! light browns, golds, champagnes, light greens. i Recommend Revlon Illumerence creme shadows in Va Va Va bloom :) P.S: use light brown and light colors for eyeliner! Peace!
tinted moisturizer.

Light matte eyeshadow.

Brown eyeliner

brown/black masrcara.

light pink blush.

clear lip gloss

super natural nuetral look. i use it all the time. :)
do not apply to much. keep the tone color far away from the pink and stay within the neutral tones. I also helps to use natural or organic makeup and cosmetics...
best natural look? no makeup honestly if youve been wearing makeup since 5th grade your gonna be addicted to makeup and you'll just look weird when you dont wear it

TO GUYS: Do guys like a casual look and natural makeup or dressed up and stylish & a more done up?

I was wondering which guys generally found more attractive. Looking put together but casual with a more natural makeup, OR looking nice and stylish and more done up makeup?TO GUYS: Do guys like a casual look and natural makeup or dressed up and stylish %26amp; a more done up?
from wat ive seen...all the girls say styled and stuff. find that interesting? as a guy, i like a more casual look...but not too casual, if you know wat i mean.TO GUYS: Do guys like a casual look and natural makeup or dressed up and stylish %26amp; a more done up?
both work, depends on the occasion
looking nice and stylish and more done up makeup.

but not a lot of makeup just a little like eye shadow eyeliner mascara. you really want your eyes to stand out.

maybe some lip gloss
Stylish %26amp; more done up definately.
i like casual and less makeup better
casual all the way let your natural beauty shine, minimum make-up is always best quite frankly most girls who put on to much makeup often look like sluts
i like casual. the only real makeup girls need is eye makeup. when girls do themselves up its ';too much'; and they overdo themselves.
without makeup...
oh natural , thats it thats all
it's funny how many people who answered are confused on what gender they are, since the question did ask for guys to answer. i guess it would be like if i were to ask a question about women and act like i'm speaking for them. i guess it proves that guys aren't the only ones that are arrogant. people are arrogant.

anyway, now that i've made a bunch of friends, i think it's a great question. i prefer the first choice. there is a time and a place for makeup, but life isn't always about dressing up. sooner or later, you're gonna want to just be yourself. someone who can look attractive naturally is a lot better off than someone who needs the palette of an artist to make them look presentable. after all, where does it stop? how ';fake'; do you have to make yourself before it's enough. plastic surgery?
i think it all depends on the guy, but generally, a mix of both makes for an intersting and inventive girl. change it up once in a while. if you are going out for a night on the town, jazz it up. if you are staying home to chill with a guy, just keep it natural and comfortable.
both
a casual look and natural makeup FOR SURE
The casual 'girl-next-door' look, looking good, but still ready to go somewhere fun
I think that a woman who looks beautiful NATURALLY will obviously look GREAT done up! SO I try to start there...natural. It's easy to make oneself look beautiful (in most cases) but to be beautiful naturally is a whole different story! It's all personal preference!
I have always liked the natural looking female. Very light, natural make-up is fine. Alot of make-up only hides the pure beauty of a woman and it is like kissing a face full of chemicals.
a little makeup but dressed kinda conservative. Don't like the faky looking club chicks. look girly but not sl*tty
I feel that a women without a lot of makeup and dressed casually is a lot more approachable as she is more like me. When casual, it's more about just hanging out, chilling, and talking.

However, seeing a girl decked out, styling--- rawr. Nothing gets the ticker pumping like that. It accentuates a woman's curves and drives me wild.

Both of these reactions are the immediate, instinctual reaction. I'm not saying I would feel uncomfortable when a woman was all dressed up, I'm just saying that's the initial feeling. So, I like both looks- but too much makeup, and put on badly is a definite turn off.
no makeup but stylish clothes maybe a little macera
OK my ideal girl has her hair down or braided, no make up mabe lipstick, and a cute shirt and a skirt/dress. ty
Depends where.

Dance. Dressed up looks nice.

Out at the mall, school, etc. Causal maybe a little dressy.
Warts and all as it often speaks of a confident personality
It's really subjective.

Every guy has a different preference.

I personally like stylish, but I realize that it's not always practical.
i'm not a guy but alot of guys would look at u if ur dressed up
i dont care
definitely natural.
And the correct answer is: (Drum Roll)....................... (Cymbals crash).... BOTH!

It depends on the individuals - some chicks look great in casual gear with little or no make up - and its great for a day at the beach or just going to the movies.

Sometimes a more formal dress and make up is defined by where you are going - dinner with dignitaries or going to a High Class Restaurant... you wouldn't go there in your camping gear.

So it all depends on you and the guy and where you are going. Whatever you do, don't overdo it. Too much makeup is worse than none.
I'll tell you whats attractive to me is the beauty some radiate as seen from the eyes of a blind man...thats attractive !!!! ..And a nice booty doesn't hurt either
it depends on the day of the date. If its dark and going out to a dinner itll be nice looking and stylish. If its just a regular day it'll be a natural makeup
both but depends where. and i wouldnt want someone that looks good just cuz of makeup
If you look good in blue jeans and a flannel shirt, you're going to be much more attractive to me than with powdered face, laquered hair, eyeliner and lipstick.

For one thing, I won't be afraid to kiss you and ruin the effect!

This is my opinion only, others likely differ.

How do you make makeup look more natural?

I have medium brown eyes, medium brown hair, tannish skin (tone is in brown). So what colors of eye shadows, eyeliners, and bronzer or blush should I use and how do i put it on to make it look pretty? Thanks for any ideas :)

p.s please dont suggest any foundation because I dont use that, ThanksHow do you make makeup look more natural?
I have the same color eyes skin and hair so this is what I do. I have Clinique makeup but you don't have to use that. I use a goldish eye shadow that blends in well with my skin yet still looks pretty. I dont use eyeliner but I think if you just use a black eyeliner it would be good. I use light pinkish blush and it really pulls out the color of my hair. I hope this helps! :]How do you make makeup look more natural?
dont put so much on.

and also, go with how your face already is... so like put blush on where you would normally blush... and closely follow the shape of your eyes when putting on liner.

use all kinds of skin-tone makeup, no bright colors.
a nice light gray with blues will look great on you. black eyeliner. and a nice medium peachy pink blush
Use neutral tones, such as browns, pinks, beiges, grays, and BLEND! Blending is key!

Does a primer REALLY protect your skin or is it a scam just like how 100% natural makeup is good for your skin?

it seems like using a primer or not using a primer DOESN'T protect my skin from allergic reactions, even from 100% natural mineral makeup, as my skin is EXTREMELY hypersensitive?!Does a primer REALLY protect your skin or is it a scam just like how 100% natural makeup is good for your skin?
No primer doesn't protect your skin. It evens out skin texture to make foundation smoother looking on th face.Does a primer REALLY protect your skin or is it a scam just like how 100% natural makeup is good for your skin?
First of all the purpose of using a primer is to help your makeup stay all day long, or to keep the shine under control for people with oily skin or to get a better makeup finish. A primer doesn't protect your skin. Some primers have SPF and help a little with sun or light protection. You describe your skin as hypersensitive. So, it is very important for you to know what to avoid using in cosmetics. The worst irritant is fragrance in both treatment or makeup. Try to use as much as possible fragrance free products. You could try some Clinique, for example. Then it is very important for you to use the right textures and products for your skin needs. For example, if you use an exfoliator that is too strong for your skin strength than it's too harsh and irritates your skin. Anyway your skin obviously needs very gentle products. And when I say very gentle it means soft ingredients.
Make-up primers don鈥檛 protect the skin from exposure of sunlight (unless they don't include SPF), allergic reactions, etc. They rather help make-up last longer and some include colour correcting elements to pitch down redness, scarring, etc. If natural cosmetics cause allergic reactions to your skin, I recommend that you should visit a dermatologist. They would provide you with the correct advice.
primer isnt to protect its so give the foundation something to stick to so it doesnt rub off durin the day
This is it... There is a huge difference between natural makeup and organic makeup. All organic are natural but not all natural are organic.

Pores come in different sizes. some people have little pores and the makeup absorption is minimal while people with larger pores and oily skin tend to have more issues with makeup staying in the pores. I like organic foundations

  • Natural looking makeup to bring out brown eyes?

my eyes are dark brown, what are some eyeliner and eyeshadow colors to bring them out but not look overdone.Natural looking makeup to bring out brown eyes?
Plums, olives, golds will all look lovely - blues can look great too!Natural looking makeup to bring out brown eyes?
    how about a lavender?
    light blues, pinks and purples
light blues and purples, as well as goldish colors for eyeshadow.
Stick to purples. They do bring out brown. I have brown eyes myself so I can relate to what you're talking about. You could use a purple eyeliner, it bring out the browns. Also use mascara, It makes your eyes appear larger so therefore, people can see your eyes better.
I looked in a magazine that you should wear brown eyeliner and some tan/brown eyeshadow it brings out your eyes really good!

Makeup question for ladies who like natural looking makeup?

I have brown hair and an olive complexion. I would like to know what products you like to use that is natural looking. The only thing I am stuck on is my black liquid liner! Give me some of your tips.Makeup question for ladies who like natural looking makeup?
i also have olive skin and brown hair and eyes. I buy Seventeen Magazine all the time and they always have really good ideas for makeup. They also provides the different skin tones so i know what I am buying is not too light. When I do my makeup I would apply an eye shadow in either a gold or bronze color. Then line your tip lashes with black liquid liner. Next put on a golden pink blush. Lastly, apply a redish but more pink gloss on your lips and your set. This will make you look naturally pretty.

Hope this Helps!!!Makeup question for ladies who like natural looking makeup?
whenever i want to go for a natural look, i always use a sheer/clear gloss and a light brown shadow for my eyes and clear mascara for my lashes. I use the brown shadow b/c my eyes are brown and it gives me a tiny spec of color while still reminding me that i feel like ive got some makeup on.
u can use dream matte mouse whipped foundation. i forget who makes it but its either mabelline or covergirl.
Virtual Makeover. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click the link below
If you go to www.avonpersonalbeauty.com and type in n_m_crutchfield@yahoo.com when it ask for the email address, it will give you makeup tips based on your personal skin tone, eye color and hair color. You can see the results once you complete the form. For right now though, I would suggest foundation, brown/beige eyeshadow, a sheer lip gloss, lipliner close to your lip color and a bronze blush. When you apply the foundation, dab a small amount on your lips and then put your gloss on, this will allow your lips to blend with the rest of your face and it also holds your lipstick/gloss on.

I help these tips and the website helps.
Use a bronzer to give u a natural glow and then use a gold or brown eye shadow and a dark blush i recomend marykay. Use a brown lip gloss or lip stick once again marykay is great. Also use black mascara but not alot and try not to use alot of black liquid eyeliner mabye try a brown eye pencil!!

Hope I helped good luck to you!!

Whats a way to do your makeup that seems natural?

I hate putting on makeup every morning,

its time consuming and just annoying.

i dont put alot but i still dont like to.

i use eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara and foundation,

i want to stop putting on makeup but i think i look

really weird. I know it seems immature and everything and

that its better not to put any makeup and let your true self shine. But i just dont feel confident enough not to wear any.

I think i look okay with just mascara on yet, yet again, im to scared to wear just mascara in public. what should i do?Whats a way to do your makeup that seems natural?
    For your eyes:

    1. Put on a matte, neutral eyeshadow on your top lid and over your dark circles, if you have them.

    2. Put a very thin line of black eyeliner on your top lid. It will make your eyes seem more open and your lashes appear fuller.

    3. Put a bit of white eyeliner on your inner bottom lid. It will make your eyes seem bigger and stand out.

    4. Apply a coat of black mascara. Theres no need to be afraid to use it, tons of girls use it, and it makes your lashes look longer and fuller. Trust me, NOBODY is going to think your weird for wearing it haha.

    For your face:

1.. Apply a tinted mosturizer over your face. Its not as heavy and foundation, but still gets the job done. Its better for your skin, too.

    2. Set it with a pressed powder.

    For your lips:

Just a coat of lipgloss (any shade) will do :)

    There you go!

It may seem like a lot, but once you do it youll releize it isnt and gives you a very natural, beautiful, glowing look. And it usually takes about 5 minutes or less.

It shows you exactly how to get a natural look. xoWhats a way to do your makeup that seems natural?
get yourself some bare minerals or some mineral makeup. it is easy to apply and fast. it covers everything and doesnt look and feel like makeup. as for shadows for every day where get something in the natural tones with a little shimmer to it. the same goes for your blush. then a quick coat of mascara and lip gloss and your done. i do that every day for work and the whole thing takes me about 5 minutes. dont be scared to be your natural self, your beautiful.
make it seem as though you arent wearing any make-up...not too much! that will look as if you arent wearing any and look SO pretty and natural to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!! :)!!!!!!!
I just wear mascara and some blush and that's all you need.
try tinted moisturiser with a bit of mascara and a splash of bronzer bit of lip gloss
