Here's the deal. I have green, blue, orangey eyes, freckles, and blonde hair. I use black liner, and that new glittery Covergirl lash blast for green eyes. My makeup is waaaaaaay too strong for my light features. How do I look natural? P.S. I can't live without liner or mascara and my acne is kind of bad so I need foundation. PLEASE HELP!How do I make my makeup look more natural?
Hey Doll!
Looks like you've got a case of the naturals! Just kidding...I'm not really even sure what that is. But whatever it is, it's a good thing. Unfortunately, heavy makeup has negative connotations on young girls. It can imply that they are trying to appear older and attract the wrong kind of attention. Or, it can simply convey self-doubt. So, what you don't want to do is hide your natural beauty behind loads of makeup. Instead, wear just enough that it will highlight all your pretty features...in the right way.
Try starting your makeup by moisturizing, this will ensure an even and smooth application. Next, apply a semi-heavy concealer for your blemishes and blend using a clean face sponge (I like the little triangle ones you can find in large quantities).
Allow the concealer to dry and then apply a light, translucent foundation. One important thing to remember when it comes to foundation is making sure it's blended really well along the jaw line. That's usually a problem area for streaking. After that, if you still feel like you need more coverage, use a a bit of loose powder with a large brush all over the face. This will set the liquid foundation.
Then, use a light brown or gray liner instead of black. Sometimes black can be too harsh for a light complexion. Then try sweeping a soft copper shadow over the lid. Only two or three swipes of the brush should do it.
And unless it's Halloween, stay away from glitter. There is nothing natural about sparkling eye lashes. Sorry to put it so harsh...but you have to be careful about what you put on your face. It can be easy to look overdone and glitter doesn't help the problem. Try Great Lash mascara by Maybelline. It comes in a brown-black shade that is just enough to add emphasis, but isn't overwhelming.
And last, apply a tinted lip gloss to your pout. I love Burt's Beeswax lip shimmer. It comes in a variety of shades and gives your lips a bit of color while it moisturizes. But any type of gloss that combines a little bit of color and shine will work. This is a great idea because lipstick can sometimes be too loud for fair features. Just remember... everything in moderation, and you'll be a glowing natural beauty in no time! Hope I helped and good luck!

use a brown eyeliner %26amp; a brown-black or brown mascara. use a bit less though. and if you have acne , dont pack on foundation. use a concealer %26amp; a little bit of powder to even it out. for concealer i seriously reccomend Talc-Free Mineral Cream Concealer %26amp; for powder go for Talc-Free Mineral Loose Powder. Both of these are ment for acne prone skin. they are oil free %26amp; wont clog pores. I have the same problem %26amp; i use thouse two products, and i see serious improvements ever since i switched. and it looks amazingly natural.
I am so glad you asked that. I m like the master in the makeup department. Well it depends on what eyes you have. There is a list and the bottom.
Blue-eyed babes: Brown and Rose eye shadow were made 4 u girl. Apply the eye shadow from lash line to the creases in your eyelids. Then top it with some dark brown or black mascara.
Green-eyed Gals: Go for lavander and mocha shadows. Warm mocha is the perfect color for day wear, lavander will give you a purply glow for nighttime. Either way , remeber to finish off your eyes with brown mascara.
Brown-eyed beauties: Green and gold are the colors for you. These shades will pick up the tiny colored flecks that are often found in brown eyes. Choose a shadow with just a little bit of shimmer, and apply the green shadow from lash lines to the crease in your eyelids. Then add a pale cream color for the crease to your eyebrow. Finish it up with brown mascara.
Hazel-eyed Honeys: Deep green and plae are the shades for you. Choose a shadow shade that matched different flecks in your eyes. For added fun, apply your eye shadow, then line eyes with the same color, using a liner brush dipped in water.
Tips:
Once done applying all eye shadow cover with a coat of glittering gloss and make those eyes noticable.
A good place to get all of these make-up things would be at ULTA.
Choose a natural brown liner and mascara, and when you apply the liner, smudge it slightly with your finger. Curl your lashes and apply ONE coat of brown mascara. Choose a shimmery, neutral eyeshadow color and apply from your lash line to just above the crease. You could try CoverGirl TrueBlend foundation. I use it, and it gives you a natural airbrushed look. Slick on some smackers lip gloss in a yummy flavor and you are good to go! :]
Keep the foundation. But if I were you I would try more natural shades.. like change your mascara to a dark brown, and also your liner. The black is probably overpowering your face. If you still want to use the black though, do a faint defined line above your eye. A good kind of makeup for you would be Almay, they have a lot of natural colors that still look cute.
wear a foundation that is closest to your skin color, and light, like bare minerals..
black mascara, just dont clump it on. do it just to darken it.
if you have to have you eyliner, just do a little maybe just on the bottom lid?
and an eyeshadow that is either light brown or paleish pink.. no sparkley kind though.. just matte color.
a light blush.
and i think your god to go :]
ok so try mineral foundation, it looks TONS more natural, and still gives good coverage. i use loreal.
and, just use less eyeliner and mascara, just a touch. and maybe use black-brown instead of black. hope i helped!
mine please!! http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
Wear eyeliner and mascara in either brown or dark brown. If your foundation looks overdone try mixing some lotion with it so it doesn't look as cakey or get one that's better quality. Also, a little goes a long way.
hi!
since you can't live without liner, i'd say try a brown. it will tone it down a notch. i would say the same for mascara! brown will defiently make your makeup more natural!
Try to switch to a dark brown pencil liner and a brown mascara or at least one without glitter.
Just us foundation some mascara and lipgloss
use brown makeup, not black
