What are some ways to wear light makeup and look natural?

I only wear a tiny bit of foundation just for even skin and mascara. but somehow it comes out clumpy. helpp!

:]What are some ways to wear light makeup and look natural?
If your mascara is clumpy - throw it out. You don't want to get an infection or something because of it.

As for the natural look, use foundation to even out the skin tone, than a little blush where the sun would normally hit your face (cheeks, VERY lightly over the nose, chin and forehead). Use eyeshadow very similar to your skin tone, but with a little bit of shimmer, and use two coats of mascara on your top lashes and one on your bottom lashes.

=) It's as simple as that. What are some ways to wear light makeup and look natural?
* Gently dot concealer on your skin with the pad of your ring finger (this finger has the lightest touch). Concentrate on dark areas, like inner eye corners, and skin discolorations, like blemishes and spider veins.

* Next apply foundation only where you need it, blending with fingertips or by dabbing with a sponge wedge. Follow with a dusting of loose powder to set your look.

* Apply blush on the apples of your cheeks, blending upward toward your cheekbones. To keep blush looking fresh, don't extend it too close to your hairline鈥攋ust apply to where you naturally flush.

* Now define your brows. Tweeze any stray hairs to keep your brows looking groomed, then fill in brows with a freshly sharpened brow pencil. Use feathery upward strokes to avoid a harsh line.

* Apply a light highlighting shadow over the entire eye area, from lash line to brow bone. Follow with a dusting of a medium-toned shadow in the hollow crease of the eye, the area above the lid and just below the bottom of the brow bone.

* If you're going to use a lash curler now is the time鈥攁lways use your curler before applying mascara to avoid lash breakage.

* Using a pencil eyeliner, trace a smooth line at the base of your lids and into your lash line, starting at the outside of your eyes and blending inward. Follow with one or two coats of volumizing mascara.

* Seal your polished look by applying a lipstick or lipgloss in a color that simply enhances your natural lip color.

(: hope this helped
Mineral foundation works realy good. I use an applicator sponge. It comes out great. Then put a light brown eyeshadow on. Then just a little but of brown or black eyeliner on the outer corner of your bottom eyelids. I have cover girl blush, I dont remember what its called but its a loose powder and its in kind of a bigger container. Then wear a light pink lipstick.

Hope this helped =]
I do the same thing, just a little foundation. but i use a bare natural mineral powder- its expensive as ****- but it works so good. and it looks natural. as for the clumpy mascara try another brand- i use rimel london xxx lengthening mascara. ive never had it clump up on me :]

hope it works outt.
what comes our clumpy? your mascara or your foundation? if you dont want either or them to clump then change the brand you use. you can use an eyeshadow that matches your skin tone or something that brightens your eyes. or you can put some blush that gives that soft glow to your skin. there are alot of different ways to make yourself look natural with makeup and without. just try different looks to see which one you like best. goodluck =)
Bare minerals is good, but have you tried Loreal True Match? It goes on pretty even. I suggest also using moiturizer or base first for your skin. Use a sponge applicator for a more natural look.As for mascara, you can try a different brand, like Mabelline or Almay
mineral powder foundation and light colors on your eyes like shimmer or gold colors, and a light lipstick color and a clearish gloss hope i helped:)
defiantly mineral powder and some really creamy foundation that's exactly your shade, and a bit of bronzer to bring out your cheek bones
